Background of the Project

The Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts has been committed to preparing students for careers in the creative industry, particularly in the Eastern Economic Corridor (EEC). To support this initiative, the “BAE KA DIN” Art Market 2024 was organized as a continuation of an event that has been held for over 20 years. The project aimed to provide students with opportunities to develop entrepreneurial skills, apply their artistic talents, and generate income through their creative abilities.
Additionally, the event played a crucial role in integrating art into public spaces, transforming the venue and surrounding areas through artistic and design elements, and establishing a vibrant art market festival.

Objectives

  1. To equip students with the necessary skills and experience to enter the creative industry, focusing on product development and event management.
  2. To create opportunities for students to generate income through their skills in art, design, and other creative fields.

Project Details

The “BAE KA DIN” Art Market 2024 was established as an art market to support students in their transition to the creative workforce. The event provided knowledge on product development and event organization, giving students hands-on experience before entering the professional creative industry.

The event featured:

  • An art market showcasing student works
  • Live music performances
  • Talent showcases in various artistic disciplines

The project was a collaborative effort involving the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, the Faculty’s Student Union, students from all disciplines within the faculty, and local business owners who supported the initiative.

Impacts

Students gained valuable knowledge on product development and event organization while showcasing their creative talents through the art market format. The event attracted over 15,000 attendees and generated a total economic circulation of more than 700,000 THB.
