โครงการ KSBDA International Invitational Exhibition ถูกจัดโดยสมาคม Korea Society of Basic Design & Art (KSBDA) อย่างต่อเนื่องมาเป็นเวลา 25 ปี ก่อตั้งขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 15 กรกฎาคม พ.ศ. 2542 และมีจำนวนสมาชิกในปัจจุบันทั้งสิ้น 9,408 คนจากหลากหลายประเทศทั่วโลก ด้วยแนวคิดของการให้ความสำคัญกับการจัดแสดงและเผยแพร่ผลงานทางศิลปะและการออกแบบ ที่ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงวิธีการนำเสนอความคิดสร้างสรรค์ของศิลปินและนักออกแบบเท่านั้น แต่ยังเป็นช่องทางสำคัญในการสร้างแรงบันดาลใจ และเปิดโอกาสให้เกิดการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองทางศิลปะในวงกว้าง กิจกรรมนี้มีบทบาทสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจในคุณค่าของศิลปะในมิติต่าง ๆ ทั้งด้านสังคม วัฒนธรรม และเศรษฐกิจ โดยปัจจุบันมี Mr. Yi Won Kon ดำรงตำแหน่งเป็นประธานของสมาคม และได้มุ่งเน้นให้สมาคมดำเนินกิจกรรมเพื่อส่งเสริมการแสดงออกทางด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบไปอย่างต่อเนื่องและเข้มแข็ง เพื่อให้บรรลุความก้าวหน้าทางวิชาการของสมาคม Korea Society of Basic Design & Art (KSBDA) และการตระหนักรู้ทางสังคม สมาคมได้มีการจัดการบรรยายเสวนาแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ จัดนิทรรศการแสดงผลงานของศิลปิน นักออกแบบทั้งที่เป็นสมาชิกและเครือข่ายองค์กรและมหาวิทยาลัยทางด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบ จัดพิมพ์หนังสือเฉพาะทางด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบ วารสารวิชาการ สูจิบัตรนิทรรศการ และส่งเสริมโครงการความร่วมมือร่วมกับอุตสาหกรรมและมหาวิทยาลัยทั้งในและต่างประเทศอย่างต่อเนื่อง ในปัจจุบันสมาคมมีเป้าหมายเพื่อเพิ่มขีดความสามารถของสมาชิกตลอดจนการพัฒนาการศึกษาทางวิชาการ งานสร้างสรรค์ กิจกรรมการศึกษาและการวิจัยเกี่ยวกับศิลปะและการออกแบบให้เป็นกลไกในการสร้างเสริมเครือข่ายความคิดสร้างสรรค์ในระดับสากล

สำหรับโครงการ2024 KSBDA BURAPHA International Invitational Special Exhibition นี้นั้น เป็นโครงการที่จัดขึ้นเนื่องจากคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาได้รับโอกาสให้มีส่วนร่วมสนับสนุนและเป็นเจ้าภาพในการจัดนิทรรศการ 2024 KSBDA BURAPHA International Invitational Special Exhibition ณ หอศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา ในระหว่างวันที่ 8 – 31 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2567 ณ หอศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา โดยมีพิธีเปิดนิทรรศการฯ วันอังคารที่ 16 มกราคม พ.ศ. 2567 ที่ผ่านมา

โดยการรับผิดชอบของหอศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพา และดร. มิยอง ซอ อาจารย์ประจำสาขาวิชาการออกแบบผลิตภัณฑ์ โครงการได้ดำเนินการตามวัตถุประสงค์ของการพัฒนาเครือข่ายและความร่วมมือในด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบกับหน่วยงานในระดับสากล การเผยแพร่ผลงานศิลปะและงานออกแบบของศิลปินและนักออกแบบในระดับนานาชาติ ซึ่งเกิดประโยชน์และผลการะทบต่อการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน การประชาสัมพันธ์คณะฯและ มหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาโดยการเผยแพร่ตราสัญลักษณ์ผ่านการแสดงนิทรรศการศิลปะที่เป็นกิจกรรมในระดับสากล การเป็นแรงขับเคลื่อนองค์กรสู่ความเป็นเลิศ และเป็นศูนย์กลางในการแสดงผลงานศิลปะและงานออกแบบในภาคตะวันออก ซึ่งกระบวนการของการทำงานเริ่มต้นจากการวางแผนที่ครอบคลุมและการเตรียมการอย่างละเอียดถี่ถ้วน โดยเริ่มจากการกำหนดเป้าหมายและวัตถุประสงค์ที่ชัดเจน การดำเนินการจัดเตรียมพื้นที่สำหรับการจัดแสดง โดยคำนึงถึงความเหมาะสมของการจัดวางผลงานเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์ที่น่าสนใจแก่ผู้เข้าชม ผลงานที่ถูกจัดแสดงนอกจากการนำเสนอในพื้นที่หอศิลป์ คณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์แล้ว ยังถูกนำไปจัดแสดงอีกครั้งผ่านการแสดงออนไลน์ 360 องศา และรับการประเมินผลการจัดโครงการจากผู้เข้าร่วมเพื่อการพัฒนาต่อไปนี้

ในส่วนของผลที่ได้รับจากการดำเนินการโครงการนี้นั้นเป็นไปตามวัตถุประสงค์ที่วางไว้ ได้แก่ การเกิดเครือข่ายและความร่วมมือในด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบกับหน่วยงานในระดับสากล มีศิลปิน นักออกแบบ นิสิตและอาจารย์ให้สถาบันทางการศึกษาด้านที่เกี่ยวข้องส่งผลงานเข้าร่วมจัดแสดงเป็นจำนวนมากกว่า 600 ผลงาน เกิดประโยชน์และผลกระทบต่อการพัฒนาด้านศิลปะและงานออกแบบอย่างยเข้มแข็ง คณะฯและมหาวิทยาลัยบูรพาเป็นที่รู้จักในการเป็นศูนย์กลางในการแสดงผลงานศิลปะและงานออกแบบในภาคตะวันออก และผู้เข้าชมนิทรรศการมากกว่า 4000 ทัั้งในรูปแบบออนไลน์ และ ณ สถานที่ตั้ง รวมถึงนิสิตให้ผลต่อรับที่ดีและเกิดแรงบันดาลใจในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะและการออกแบบจากโครงการนี้

นอกจากนี้ โครงการ 2024 KSBDA BURAPHA International Invitational Special Exhibition นี้ ยังสอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDG) ข้อ 11 โดยเฉพาะในเรื่องการส่งเสริมการพัฒนาพื้นที่เมืองและชุมชนที่ยั่งยืนผ่านกิจกรรมด้านศิลปวัฒนธรรม หอศิลป์ของคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ถูกใช้เป็นพื้นที่จัดงานที่รองรับกิจกรรมสร้างสรรค์และเสริมสร้างความเป็นอยู่ในเชิงสุนทรียะ การใช้งานพื้นที่เช่นนี้ช่วยส่งเสริมให้เมืองและชุมชนมีความยั่งยืนและเอื้ออาทรต่อการใช้ชีวิตของผู้คน ส่งเสริมการเข้าถึงวัฒนธรรมและศิลปะสำหรับคนในพื้นที่ รวมถึงประชาชนทั่วไป ส่งเสริมความหลากหลายทางวัฒนธรรมและการแลกเปลี่ยนทางศิลปะ อันเป็นการสนับสนุนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาเมืองที่เน้นความหลากหลายและความร่วมมือระดับโลก และส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ในด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบ สนับสนุนการพัฒนาชุมชนเมืองให้เป็นพื้นที่แห่งการเรียนรู้และความคิดสร้างสรรค์อีกด้วย ขณะเดียวกัน โครงการยังสนับสนุนเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนข้อที่ 4 (SDG 4) โดยส่งเสริมการศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพในด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบ โครงการนี้ได้มอบประสบการณ์การเรียนรู้ที่ทรงคุณค่าให้กับนักศึกษา กระตุ้นการเรียนรู้และความคิดสร้างสรรค์ผ่านการสัมผัสกับการแสดงออกทางศิลปะที่หลากหลาย ด้วยการส่งเสริมโอกาสทางการศึกษาและการแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ นิทรรศการนี้จึงมีส่วนช่วยพัฒนาชุมชนเมืองให้เป็นศูนย์กลางด้านการศึกษา นวัตกรรม และการเติบโตทางวัฒนธรรมอย่างยั่งยืน

The 2024 KSBDA BURAPHA International Invitational Special Exhibition
For the fiscal year 2024

The 2024 KSBDA BURAPHA International Invitational Special Exhibition was held as part of an ongoing initiative by the Korea Society of Basic Design & Art (KSBDA). Established on July 15, 1999, the association has maintained a global membership of 9,408 individuals from various countries. The exhibition reflects KSBDA’s longstanding commitment to showcasing and disseminating creative works in art and design. This initiative not only serves as a platform for artists and designers to present their creativity but also acts as a significant channel for inspiring audiences and fostering broad exchanges of artistic perspectives. The event plays a crucial role in enhancing appreciation for the value of art in its social, cultural, and economic dimensions. Under the leadership of Mr. Yi Won Kon, KSBDA has continually promoted activities that support artistic and design expression, with the aim of achieving academic advancement and social awareness. These activities include knowledge exchange seminars, exhibitions of works by artists and designers within KSBDA’s network, academic publications, specialized books, exhibition catalogs, and collaborations with industries and universities worldwide.

The 2024 KSBDA BURAPHA International Invitational Special Exhibition was hosted by the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University, from January 8 to 31, 2024, at its Art Gallery. The exhibition’s opening ceremony took place on Tuesday, January 16, 2024. Led by Dr. Miyoung Seo, a faculty member in Product Design Department, Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University, the event was organized to achieve objectives such as fostering international collaboration in art and design, showcasing works by international artists and designers, and contributing to sustainable development. The exhibition also served as a platform to promote the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts and Burapha University through the display of its emblem in an internationally recognized event. Additionally, the project positioned the university as a regional hub for art and design in Eastern Thailand.

The implementation of this project began with comprehensive planning and meticulous preparation. Clear goals and objectives were established, followed by arrangements for the exhibition space to ensure an engaging experience for visitors. The displayed works were presented both at the Faculty’s Art Gallery and through a 360-degree online exhibition. Feedback was collected from participants to assess the project’s impact and improve future initiatives.
The project achieved its goals successfully. It established robust networks and collaborations with international organizations in art and design, with over 600 works submitted by artists, designers, and students from related academic institutions. The exhibition attracted more than 4,000 visitors, both online and in person. It also elevated the Faculty and the University as a prominent center for art and design in Eastern Thailand. Participating students reported being inspired by the exhibition, which motivated them to pursue creativity in their own artistic and design endeavors.

Furthermore, the project aligns with Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG 11) by promoting sustainable urban development through cultural activities. The Art Gallery of the Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts was utilized as a creative space, enhancing aesthetic quality and contributing to the well-being of the community. The exhibition facilitated access to art and culture for local residents and the general public while fostering cultural diversity and international artistic exchange. Additionally, the project supports Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) by advancing quality education in art and design. It provided an enriching educational experience for students, encouraging learning and creativity through exposure to diverse artistic expressions. By fostering educational opportunities and promoting the exchange of knowledge, the exhibition contributed to the development of urban communities as hubs for education, innovation, and cultural growth.
