ศิษย์เก่าคณะศิลปกรรมศาสตร์ สร้างชื่อเสียงระดับโลก ร่วมขับเคลื่อนโครงการออกแบบสนามบินที่ได้รับรางวัล “World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026”

Dr.Shang Yingmei ในฐานะหัวหน้าโครงการจาก School of Digital Creativity, Guangdong Light Industry Vocational and Technical University ได้นำทีมพัฒนาและออกแบบพื้นที่พักคอยและเฟอร์นิเจอร์ภายในอาคารผู้โดยสาร T3 ท่าอากาศยานนานาชาติกวางโจวไป๋หยุน (Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport T3 Terminal) สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ซึ่งได้รับการคัดเลือกให้เป็นหนึ่งใน “World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026” จากรางวัลอันทรงเกียรติ Prix Versailles ณ กรุงปารีส ประเทศฝรั่งเศส

โครงการดังกล่าวเป็นตัวอย่างความสำเร็จของการบูรณาการองค์ความรู้ด้านศิลปะ การออกแบบวัฒนธรรมและนวัตกรรม ร่วมกับภาคอุตสาหกรรมเพื่อสร้างประสบการณ์การเดินทางที่มีคุณภาพระดับโลก โดยได้รับการยอมรับในด้านความเป็นมนุษย์ (Humanity) ความยั่งยืนด้านสิ่งแวดล้อม (Ecology) และสุนทรียภาพทางการออกแบบ (Aesthetics)

ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงศักยภาพที่สามารถนำองค์ความรู้ด้านศิลปะและการออกแบบไปสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกในระดับนานาชาติ และเป็นแรงบันดาลใจให้แก่นิสิต นักศึกษา และนักออกแบบรุ่นใหม่ในการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานที่มีคุณค่าแก่สังคมโลก

Burapha University Alumnus Contributes to One of the “World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026”

The Faculty of Fine and Applied Arts, Burapha University, proudly congratulates Dr. Shang Yingmei, an alumna of the Doctoral Program in Visual Arts, Art of Design and Cultural Management, on her remarkable international achievement.

As the project leader from the School of Digital Creativity, Guangdong Light Industry Vocational and Technical University, Dr. Shang Yingmei led the design and development of the bespoke seating and public-space furniture for Terminal 3 of Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, People’s Republic of China. The project has recently been recognized as one of the “World’s Most Beautiful Airports 2026” by the prestigious Prix Versailles Awards in Paris, France.

The project represents an outstanding integration of art, design, culture, innovation, and industry collaboration, creating a world-class passenger experience. The airport received international recognition for its excellence in Humanity, Ecology, and Aesthetics, setting a benchmark for contemporary airport design worldwide.

This achievement highlights the global impact of Burapha University alumni and demonstrates how knowledge in visual arts, design, and cultural management can contribute meaningfully to society and the built environment on an international scale.
